Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data the DittoFS website (dittofs.io) collects, why, and the choices you have. It covers this website only. DittoFS, the software, is open source under the MIT license and does not phone home.
What we collect
- Contact form. The PRO contact form is provided by HubSpot. When you submit it, HubSpot collects the details you enter (such as your email) on our behalf and may set a cookie to attribute your enquiry. We use these details only to reply to you.
- Analytics. With your consent, we use Google Tag Manager to understand how the site is used. It sets cookies and collects usage data such as pages viewed and approximate location. No analytics load until you opt in.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider may process standard request metadata (IP address, user agent) to serve and protect the site.
Legal basis
We rely on your consent for analytics and marketing cookies, on our legitimate interest in responding to you for contact messages, and on legitimate interest for basic security logs.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of processors to run the site: HubSpot for the PRO contact form and the enquiries it collects, Cloudflare to host and serve the site, and, where you have consented, Google for analytics. We do not sell your data.
Retention
We keep contact messages for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and our records of it. Analytics data follows the providers' retention settings.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you can ask us to access, correct, or delete your data, or object to processing. You can withdraw cookie consent at any time from the cookie policy page. To make a request, email hello@dittofs.io.
International transfers
Some providers process data outside your country. Where that happens, we rely on the providers' safeguards for international transfers.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by the date above.
